saya kembali!

Rasanya, saya sudah absen dari dunia blogging cukup lama. Sebenernya ini gara-gara saya baru download Chip's Challenge. Ingat, game windows oldies dari zaman jebot Windows95 dan 98? Sungguh ketagihan saya, setiap kali saya menyalakan komputer, pasti buntut-buntutnya langsung main itu selama berjam-jam.

Sekarang, beberapa quick updates.

Jadi, things sudah mulai settle down dalam hidup saya. Enrolment sudah dibereskan online, beberapa hari yang lalu saya sudah pergi ke UNSW untuk bikin student id dan jalan-jalan saja. Thanks untuk Epeline (sebenernya saya agak-agak bingung, nama anda Evelyn atau Eveline atau gimana) yang sudah bersedia mengantarkan, and thanks for the good times saat menertawakan beberapa peribahasa Melayu:

1. Gajah berak besar, kancil pun hendak berak besar.
2. Mulut disuap pisang, pantat dikait dengan onak.
(onak = duri)

Anyway, foto student id saya... parah! Teruk! Foto itu taken on the spot waktu saya di UNSW, computer-generated, sudah gitu pundaknya miring, dan... ugghh... pokoknya tidak memuaskan. Mana, itu akan menjadi id saya untuk 4 tahun ke depan...

Dan rupanya bukan saya saja yang berpikir begitu. Tadi pagi saya pergi ke bank.

Me : Hi, I'd like to change my account into a student's one...
Bank guy: Please give me your key card n your student id.
Me: *Shoving both cards to him*
Bank guy: *look at the photo, look at me, grin grin chuckle chuckle chuckle chuckle*
Me: (Damn damn damn damn) Er.... Why r you laughing?
Bank guy: *chuckle chuckle* ... Ah. You look so happy here. *chuckle chuckle*
Me: (@#$^&&*) Am I....? ($%^*^*@#) I'm kinda embarrased of that photo as well...!!! *couldn't help but chuckle too*
Bank guy: OK... Your account has been... *chuckle chuckle* updated and... *chuckle chuckle*
[at this point I stop listening to him]
Me: *jadi rada sebel* (Kenapa dia tidak bisa berhenti ketawa?? Sialan.....)
Bank guy: *tries to compose himself* It's a good photo.
Me: (Yeah rite) Thank you. (simpan kartu buru-buru dan kabur)
